42 Ekonomi is a cloud-based accounting application designed for Swedish businesses.
- Designed for business customers in Sweden.
- Customers own all accounting data.
- Customers remain legally responsible for their accounting records.
- 42 Scandinavia provides software—not accounting, tax or legal advice.
- Customer Data may be exported during the subscription and for 30 days after termination.
- 42 Scandinavia processes Customer Data on behalf of the Customer.

Service Description
42 Ekonomi is a hosted software service intended to support businesses in managing accounting-related activities.
Depending on the subscription, the Service may include:
- bookkeeping;
- journal entries;
- account registers;
- charts of accounts;
- vouchers;
- financial reports;
- VAT calculations;
- import and export of accounting data;
- user management;
- reporting.
Feature availability may vary between subscription plans.
Intended Use
42 Ekonomi is intended to assist businesses with accounting administration.
The Service is software only.
42 Scandinavia does not provide:
- accounting services;
- bookkeeping services;
- auditing;
- tax advice;
- financial advice;
- legal advice.
Use of the Service does not establish an accountant-client, auditor-client or advisory relationship with 42 Scandinavia.
Customer Responsibilities
The Customer remains solely responsible for:
- the accuracy of accounting records;
- compliance with Swedish accounting legislation;
- compliance with tax legislation;
- VAT reporting;
- statutory filings;
- financial statements;
- annual reports;
- ensuring that accounting entries are complete and correct.
The Customer is responsible for obtaining professional advice where appropriate.
Customer Data
Customer Data may include:
- accounting records;
- journal entries;
- vouchers;
- account balances;
- customer registers;
- supplier registers;
- VAT information;
- attachments;
- notes;
- audit history;
- user information.
The Customer determines what information is entered into the Service.
Personal Data
Where Customer Data contains Personal Data:
- the Customer acts as Data Controller;
- 42 Scandinavia acts as Data Processor.
Processing is governed by the Data Processing Agreement.
Legal Compliance
42 Ekonomi is designed to support accounting activities.
However, 42 Scandinavia does not warrant that:
- use of the Service alone satisfies all legal obligations;
- reports generated by the Service are legally sufficient without customer review;
- the Service automatically complies with future legislative changes.
Customers remain responsible for verifying all accounting information before submission to authorities or third parties.
Statutory Record Retention
The Customer remains responsible for complying with all statutory record-retention obligations under applicable law.
Deletion of Customer Data under the Master Terms or the Data Retention Policy does not relieve the Customer of any legal obligation to preserve accounting records.
Customers should export and securely retain any records they are legally required to keep before requesting deletion or allowing a subscription to terminate.
Financial Reports
Reports generated by the Service are intended to assist Customers in managing their accounting information.
The Customer is responsible for reviewing reports before relying upon them for:
- tax filings;
- statutory reporting;
- financial decisions;
- submissions to governmental authorities;
- reporting to auditors or lenders.
Imports and Exports
42 Ekonomi may provide facilities to import or export accounting information.
The Customer is responsible for:
- validating imported information;
- verifying exported information;
- maintaining backups of exported records where required.
42 Scandinavia is not responsible for errors originating from inaccurate imported data.
Integrations
42 Ekonomi may integrate with third-party services.
Examples may include:
- payment providers;
- banking services;
- tax services;
- business systems.
42 Scandinavia is not responsible for interruptions, inaccuracies or changes caused by third-party providers.
Service Improvements
42 Scandinavia continuously develops 42 Ekonomi.
Features may be:
- added;
- improved;
- replaced;
- removed where obsolete.
Material reductions in core functionality will normally be announced at least thirty (30) days in advance unless immediate action is necessary for security, legal compliance or operational reasons.
Support
Support is provided through the support channels published on the 42 Ekonomi website.
Support does not include accounting, tax, auditing or legal advice.
Data Location
42 Ekonomi operates using managed cloud infrastructure provided through Lovable and its underlying infrastructure providers where applicable.
Current subprocessors are listed in the published Subprocessor Register.
